We are looking for a Sales Director to be responsible for the day-to-day sales activities. You will be working with one of the best engineering teams in the infrastructure management space, and our customer reviews speak for it! Closing a qualified lead is not a problem out here.
Candidate should have a demonstrated ability to find new opportunities and create a consistent sales pipeline. Must be creative, aggressive and possess a desire to expand and advance his/her responsibilities.
Play hunter role, acquire new customers in the managed infra and cloud services space
Develop plans for, and execute lead generation activities
Proactively research and find target organizations, and establish communications with those prospects
Leverage existing partner programs with Microsoft and Amazon AWS to find appropriate leads
Prospect Management: Establish and maintain personal contact with prospects, manage the pipeline, ensure all activities happen on time to take a customer through the sales funnel
Minimum of 5 years of "hunting" experience. First hand knowhow of building a pipeline
Must know selling into the infrastructure and cloud market. Knowledge of the popular technologies and products from Microsoft, VMWare, Cisco, Veeam, Azure and AWS will be a strong plus.
Must be able to articulate the benefit of operational management platforms for monitoring, high availability, backups, disaster recovery, IT analytics, and security.
Must know selling to mid-market enterprises, understands corporate buyers
Have done consultative selling; preferably worked at a service provider; ideally worked at a competitor of ours!
Experience selling to the CIO, VP IT, or Senior Director of Tech Ops
